- The label mainstays will follow up their 2017 EP, A Broken Clock Is Right Twice A Day.
PTU will release their debut album, Am I Who I Am, on Nina Kraviz's ???? label this June.
Though Alina Izolenta and Kamil Ea have previously released only a handful of records, PTU have been exploring their penchant for analog hardware and "obscure synths" for over a decade. Across the 12 tracks of Am I Who I Am, the duo pull from techno and IDM while "placing [the references] in far less familiar structures," the label says.
The A3 cut, "castor and pollux," previously appeared on the 2018 ???? compilation, Don't You Mess With Cupid, 'Cause Cupid Ain't Stupid. PTU's other releases on the label include "Taorak," from the 2016 compilation When I Was 14, and A Broken Clock Is Right Twice A Day, their debut EP from 2017.
