- The eight-track LP was recorded at Atonal Festival in Berlin and Katharsis in the Netherlands.
Hospital Productions will release a live album from Orphx and JK Flesh next month.
Light Bringer was compiled out of respective recordings from Berlin's Atonal Festival and the Katharsis events in the Netherlands, where Orphx (Rich Oddie and Christina Sealey) and JK Flesh (Justin Broadrick) staged rare live collaborations. A version of title track appeared on Berlin Atonal Force Majeure, a 2017 compilation released by Berlin Atonal Recordings and The Wire, but the rest of the cuts are unreleased. Josh Eustis (Telefon Tel Aviv, Second Woman) handled the mastering. The record will be released in an edition of 666 and comes with a poster.
Broadrick, whose long career spans projects such as Napalm Death, Godflesh, Jesu and Techno Animal, has had a busy year. He put out a split album with Goth-Trad and has an EP due on The Bug's label this week. JK Flesh's RA-recommended full-length, New Horizon, came out on Electric Deluxe last fall.
