- It's the experimental artist's third LP for Mexican Summer.
Jefre Cantu-Ledesma has a new album, Tracing Back The Radiance, on the way via Mexican Summer.
The three-track full-length is described as "a slow, delicate meditation," in the press release, "delving far afield from the pop drenched melodies which have defined his recent efforts." The record draws influence from Italian minimalist pioneers such as Gusto Pio, Lino Capra Vaccina and Francesco Messina & Raul Lovisoni, and features a host of collaborators including John Also Bennett, Greg Kowalsky and the harpist Mary Lattimore. Tracing Back The Radiance follows Cantu-Ledesma's well-received 2017 full-length, On The Echoing Green, and respective collaborative LPs with Alexis Georgopoulos and Félicia Atkinson.
