Tonight there's live music going down at Honkytonks with Bionikworld and MC Blue scheduled to play Weird Gear. It seems Bionikworld have not stopped since their album was released, and this gig marks a return to Melbourne after their headlining spot at Brisbane's Crossroads festival last weekend. Newsflash! The boys have a summer of gigs lined up in Oz, but then they're off to live in France, where they will be releasing material through the label Chronowax (France) in 2004.
The Bionikworld live show is a collage of beats, textures, and melodies. Keeping it entertaining to watch as well as listen to, the show is always live, hard hitting and retaining a strong sense of fun that totally spread across the Honkytonks dancefloor when they last paid a visit in September.
