Ninja Tune will release The Return, the debut album from Australia-based rapper and singer-songwriter Sampa The Great.
Born in Zambia, Sampa Tembo broke through in Sydney's jazz and hip-hop scene in 2015. She's since put out two mixtapes, including Birds And The Bee9 for Ninja Tune subsidiary Big Dada in 2017. The Return, which spans 19 tracks, was mixed by Jonwayne, among others, and features numerous cameos from the likes of New York MC Whosane and London jazz collective Steam Down. It's out September 13th.
Watch the video for the new single, "OMG," which was shot between South Africa and Botswana.
