  • Shackleton has revealed his newest project. As Tunes Of Negation, Sam Shackleton has collaborated with keyboardist Takumi Motokawa and mallet player Raphael Meinhart on a new album, Reach The Endless Sea. (Heather Leight also contributes vocals on the first two tracks.) The seven-track LP will arrive on October 17th via Shapednoise's Cosmo Rhythmatic label. The press release says the album is "a meditation on the non-finitude of life and spirit, and the limits of perception in dealing with it." Last September, Shackleton released an EP, called Furnace Of Guts, on his label Woe To The Septic Heart. Cosmo Rhythmatic's last release was the RA-recommended album Solitude by King Midas Sound, AKA Kevin Martin and Roger Robinson, from earlier this year. Listen to "Nowhere Ending Sky."
