- The synth master recorded the nine-track LP in studios in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Tbilisi and Brussels.
Steve Hauschildt is back on Ghostly International for his second album in two years.
The former Emeralds member recorded his latest LP, Nonlin, between tour dates in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Tbilisi and Brussels. True to its title, Nonlin is less linear than his previous full-length for Ghostly, 2018's Dissolvi. The album, which is due in October, sees him integrating modular and granular synthesis into his signature hand-played and grid-oriented techniques.
Check out our profile on Hauschildt from back in 2016, when he was still based in Cleveland.
