London label Circadian Rhythms has announced a new project, CR004: Partisan.
CR004: Partisan, out November 15th, includes a 16-track cassette compilation, packaged in an upcycled military sewing kit, and a clothing capsule made from repurposed materials, designed by contributor Linus Nicholson (AKA ausschuss).
The label, which is dedicated to physical releases of music and merchandise, says, "We understand there is an inherent environmental cost to our work." The Partisan project is an exploration of "engaging with low impact solutions to sustain art production."
As for the music, the album will trace the lineage of jungle and rave, featuring contributions from label affiliates such as Clouds, Hyph11E, Impey, Sully and Flora Yin-Wong.
