  • Since their early and still loved Communicate series with Sasha and Digweed, Renaissance have – and after a bit of a quite period – have really pushed themselves back gear and into the spotlight. They have been hosting events around the world, launching a fresh new website and releasing some fine compilations (Hernan’s Renaissance Masters being the most recent) and the soon to be release Therapy Sessions (read comments about Phil and Seaman’s combine released here) they are not yet looking to slow down the pace in their international music onslaught. Steve Lawler Renaissance are heading back to The Bomb, arguably Nottingham’s premier club to host two fantastics DJs. First up in the Renaissance representation will be the deep tribal sounds as Steve Lawler makes his Bomb debut. Steve will bring his arsenal of experience, including his Lights Out series on GU, his residency at Space in Ibiza, his Harlem record label and monthly clubnight at The End. GarnierThe following week will feature is a man who slots perfectly into the Renaissance brand of on the ball cutting edge music. One of the hottest and understated DJs around Laurent Garnier - who not only runs his F Comms record label (from which he releases his critically acclaimed Excess Luggage compilation) but also is a huge favourite around the world including Fabric and The End in London. His influences range from jazz, deep house and breaks to one of his biggest loves …the Detroit house sound. He will be laying down a special 4-hour set for the Bomb crowds on Good Friday!
