  • Another of the cracking parties that you should consider for your well packed Miami Winter Music Conference diary is Dance Local Think Global at Groovepad 2004. Presented by Prexi PR and UrbanGroove, the event at GroovePad features a selection of top quality DJ/Producers from NYC, the UK and Australia. Melbourne favourite Phil K, Little Mountain pushing Steve Porter, Chris & Kai of Yoshitoshi, and Astro&Glyde who have just signed to Bedrock Records are just some of the names set to take on the turntables at this special free event. If that wasn't enough (and c'mon it's the WMC - surely there are more DJs Roaming the streets) there is also a very talented special guest booked! We cannot give you his name – but he's held highly by many and is one of the hottest talents touring the globe at the moment. Let’s just say he has mastered the art of the Pioneer CDJ100s and Sublime EFX500 and he is ranked highly in DJ Magazines Top 100 DJs of 2003. The full line-up for Dance Local Think Global is;.
Astro&Glyde (Bedrock), Brendan Benke, Chris & Kai (Yoshitoshi), Dennis Rodgers, Dirty Gringos, Hisham Samawi, Luis Diaz, Phil K, Shimon M, Steve Porter (Little Mountain) & special guest
The event is on at The Creek Hotel on Sunday March 7 taking up a 12 hour chunk from 12:00pm – 12:00am and will feature an Open Bar and BBQ. It's open to industry and press as well as other blaggers, but you’ll need to email [email protected] and RSVP.
