  • Breaks purveyor, Mark Pember, better know as Meat Katie is about to launch his brand new record label, Lot49. Lot49 takes over from where his previous imprint Whole 9 Yards fell short. In it's time standing from 1998 until early 2004, W9Y released some great music, but it currently lies in limbo and has no further plans to release new music. "Breakbeat that carries influences from tech/tribal house to straight up techno will be featured" as well as "an outlet for high quality tech-funk, the sound I’ve been pushing over the years." are Pember's comments in regards to where the label is headed. Lot49's debut release (distributed on Intergroove) will be in May. A track titled 'The Way' by Dylan Rhymes featuring a mix by the Brighton based Evil 9. Also lined-up for releases are friends and fellow breaks artists including Force Mass Motion, D.Ramirez, Sly Fidelity & Club Foot, Elite Force, Christian J, Forme, and Lee Coombs.
