  • Liquor licencing laws relating to Anzac day will see many clubs and pubs in Brisbane close at midnight on Saturday 24 April. Arcade 64 however are prepared and ready to rock you with a party themed around vintage computing and games arcades. They have secured a licence to stay open until 3am, so the promoters advise to get in early with a ticket, rather than rush there after midnight. Arcade 64 will feature the finest local and international live acts for a night of blistering beats, acid, techno, breaks and console bleeps. The party takes place on Saturday 24 April from 9pm through to 3am, at Casablanca (Cnr Caxton St and Petrie Tce, Paddington). There will also be a Vintage Computer Room (with a Commodore 64 in there no doubt) and a Stencil Art Exhibition. You can pick up your tickets from Butterbeats and Rockinghorse. Presold tickets are $10+bf. On the door you'll pay $15 before 10pm, and $20 after that for entry.
