New York group !!! (chk chk chk) play live this Thursday at 93 Feet East in advance of their lp release Louden up Now (7 June). The seven piece have got quite the live rep, playing their punked up and dancefloor heavy grooves... seek out a ticket from the Rough Trade Shop (0207 240 0105).
The same night over at the Electrowerkz (Angel tube N1) you can catch more sounds from Warp... this time with bleep. Featuring LIVE sets from Chris Clark, Jimmy Edgar and Team Shadetek, various DJs and visuals by Flat-E. 9pm till late. £7 More info at Warp.
Not strictly live, but on Saturday night expect to find Canvas in Kings Cross rattling from the presence of a Haywire Session. The Two Lone Swordsmen are bringing FROM THE DOUBLE GONE CHAPEL (which sounds more live than the 'swords usual efforts) in the form of a DJ set to room 2 alongside Guest Preachers...lots of rocknroll, country, dub, electro and punk then. If its more electro, techno, and bass you seek, then in room 1 thunder along with Detroit's DJ Bone, Sleepless Crew and Bass Junkie. 11pm - 6am, advance tickets £10 from Ticketweb or more on the door.
