So you like your drum'n'bass on the eclectic side? Cardiff-based DJ and producer High Contrast is set to tour Australia and New Zealand in late November throught to December 2004. High Contrast packed out many venues when he last visited Australia, partly due to the innovative style of his productions which fuse many musical styles from jazz and funk to film soundtracks and disco, and thus entice new listeners to drum'n'bass while offering a different perspective to the diehard fans.
High Contrast aka Lincoln Barrrett was a complete unknown when Hospital Records signed him up in 2000. His "True Colours" long player was released in 2002 to critical acclaim, and in 2004 High Contrast looks set to bring on a new album for Hospital. The forthcoming tour promises many exclusive dubplates, so check the fuss on this young man in D'n'B!
