Having secured the first ever appearance from Clever Brains Fryin’ at this years July 31 Global Gathering festival, Godskitchen having given fans of Keith Flint and his band a chance to hear previously unheard material online prior to the upcoming gig. The 5 piece group consists of MC Sir Real, MC Bad Manner and Cherequi all take to the mics whilst turntablist DJ Jason Laid Back tweaks the vinyl.
Although it’s a blatant exercise in building hype prior to the huge upcoming festival at Statford Upon Avon, its actually a great chance for people all over the world to hear a preview of their latest records and then really go nuts at the festival when you hear the first beats coming in. After a year in the studio the group is obviously keen to get their fresh music out on the airwaves:”We have spent the last few months developing our sound every day from the studio at home, ready to take it live as a collective. Before the studio swallows us up we wanted to get the music out there so you can hear something before we let loose at Global athering.”
