London is the scene of many good nights featuring in breaks, but when the crew from London based breakbeat label Guerrilla Tactics pull out all the stops and announce they are putting on a ‘big breaks event’ at The rhythm Factory on August 21 its time to stand up, take notice and look forward to cutting up some d-floor rug.
Room 1 will feature the delights of breaks meets jungle cat Aquasky who has been making records since 1995 and released material on labels such as Moving Shadow and Botchit and Scarper. He is also the genius behind last years ‘Stayfresh’ album. Other DJ’s to take the main stage are Ed 209, Sonz Of Mecha, Hook and Sling, Insurgent Forces (Mikey B and Tweak) and Payload residents.
Room 2 which will be hosted by Hotflush Recordings and Supertronix and feature DJ’s from the labels and friends cutting up the dance floor. This E1 event is a corker for breaks fans and only £5 if you mail here.
