  • Pioneers, front runners and live act supremos Orbital will be performing for the last time tonight; July 28. Taking place at London's Maida Vale studios in front of an audience of only 40 people this is a very special intimate gig. Since 1989, Brothers Paul and Phil Hartnoll have treated their fans to a ridiculous amount of live gigs ranging from festivals to warehouse parties. After eight albums and 21 singles, Orbital will release their latest and last offering to the world: ‘The Blue Album’ (ATO Records/Sept 21). If you aren't one of the extremely lucky people invited to witness this live event, then you can still listen live (UK:11pm - USA:6PM EST) on BBC Radio 1, or online at anytime after that. It's time for the brothers to hang up their mad light goggles, and take a bow to their legions of fans. Give respect where respect is due and tune in for one last Orbital experience.
