For those that are new to RA, and for those yet to stumble across it, the Producer Playpen allows us to take in questions from you guys, and pass on a selection directly to the producer next in the pen. We had a great variety of questions submitted to Derrick, who gave us some solid yet upfront answers, and wanted to thank you guys for your patience. One of Derrick’s responses in regards to getting into production follows..."Anything AKAI makes is a great intro into how to become professional. I'm not big on software, I find it better to physically work with music. I'm a hands on musician, it's not just about technology. Anyone can make music with a computer."
