Proving that there is more to the bank holiday weekend than crowds, jerk chicken and lavatory challenges – the folks at TDK Cross Central Festival have something for you. Joined by moving arts and music collective Artstock, the Kings Cross Festival will play host to a range of unique DVD installations. Rocking alongside acts like 2 Many DJ’s and the Glimmer Twins, will be feature artists Jamie Reid, James Cauty and Gimpo.
Previous Artstock outings have included collaborations with Tracey Emin, Sam Taylor Wood, Brian Eno and KLF (exits of groove). So not only do you have the sounds of the underground to look forward to this weekend, but a few cultural names to drop when you download your weekend to your work colleagues.
Tickets to TDK Cross central are £20 per day (Saturday 28 August and Sunday 29 August) from Ticketweb or £25 on the door.
