Stop listening to the rumours and start reading the facts. Here is the lowdown on the New Years Eve and New Years Day events being run by Hardware Corporation in Melbourne. Are you ready for it?!
Belfast returns again on New Years Eve to take over the QBH complex with some of Melbourne's finest locals (see below) and one very special guest. Last year it was C.J. Bolland, and this year it will be none other than Oliver Lieb, returning from Frankfurt for his first live show in over 7 years in Australia. His production list reads like a 5 page UN Weapons of Mass Destruction list. Whether it be his infamous LSG on Superstition Records which helped shape the 90s German trance sound, or his timeless classic Spicelab deeper projects on Sven Vath's Harthouse label, Oliver has consistently pushed boundaries and evolved as one of Germany's premier electronic musicians. Be prepared for something very, very special!

Sunshine People returns on New Years Day, Saturday 1st January 2005, for their second outing. The venue is Atlantic Southwharf, Southwharf Road, Southbank (10 mins walk from Flinders St). The cast of headliners for the different arena's includes Tiga, Miss Kittin, Heiko Laux, Oliver Lieb, Tom Middleton, Phil Reynolds, Dumonde and Organ Donors. See below for the lineup in each area.
There'll be market stalls, heaps of toilets, First Aid, ample parking, passouts from 1pm, healthy food on-site, cocktail bar, friendly security, fully undercover (in case of rain), and air-conditioning (in case of heat).
