You don't need to wait until New Years Eve to get up to Mischief. Future Entertainment are running two Mischief parties in December. Felix Da Housecat and Mark Farina will be the guests of honour at the Mischief party on Saturday 4 December at the Public Office (Loft and Carpark) in Melbourne.
One of Melbourne's best underground venues, the Public Office warehouse will be fitted out with 2 big sound systems, a bar, an open air roof top (for a hot summer’s night) and some crazy talented people to play music for the punters. Felix Da Housecat is back for a second turn at Mischief, where he'll rock the warehouse electro-punk style. He gave birth the 80’s synth revival and he has a new album out entitled “Devin Dazzle and the Neon Fever”.
Mark Farina, is another product of the Chicago underground, though now a resident of San Fransisco. He's known as one of the modern day pioneers of deep house. Mark Farina will be playing an extended 5 hour set in the loft area at the Public Office covering his dubby, downtempo Mushroom Jazz through to his chunky, deep and jazzy Chicago house for labels such as Classic and Music for Freaks. A real journey for those up for an education!
Also playing will be live and local act The Little Beasties. Tickets are $60 + bf and available now from the usual outlets. Doors will open at 10pm.
