After the huge success of the original Block Party, Playground’s Block Party 2 will return to Melbourne’s Seven nightclub with Eric Powell, A-Style vs. Chango Phat and The UN across all three rooms, on Friday 10 December. Eric Powell has been around for a long term, laying his house/tech sound throughout Australia whilst The Corrupt Ducks are Melbourne duo, A-style and Chango Phat, who both impressed at this years Vic DMC finals with Chango Phat taking out 2nd place and A-Style 5th.
The UN is the cut n paste persona of Ben Shepherd and Flagrant. Hailing from different backgrounds, Ben is known primarily as a breaks DJ, having mixed 1/2 of the Futurebreaks CD and Flagrant is a true hip hop DJ with top 3 placings in the national DMC finals. Entry to Playground’s Block Party 2 is $15 at the door.
