Private Function celebrate turning three this Christmas, and as always the lads are throwing a Christmas night bash. This makes the perfect excuse to have to leave a long day with the family and get out for some fun with friends! The party is on Saturday 25 December at Two Floors Up. All the residents will be action, Gavin Martin, Aaron Roach, Dean Millson, Sasha Petrovic and even Derrick Dennis is returning to the decks!
Special guests lined up for this party include Sean Quinn who needs no introduction to anyone, his closing sets from Summadayze are etched into the hearts of many a Melbourne clubber. He’s been at PF once before, downstairs under his breaks guise Progression. This time he'll be gracing the main room upstairs.
Luke Chable can now safely be called one of the biggest names in dance music. Mostly known for his production skills, Luke has worked steadily on his DJing skills with many a set at Sideways and earlier this year playing with John Digweed at Bedrock and warming up for Sasha on his Australian tour. In testament to this, he’s just been invited to mix one of the discs alongside Dave Seaman on the next Renaissance/Audio Therapy release which will be out early next year. Catch Luke before he relocates to Europe early next year!
Representing some old skool flavour at PF, they have asked DJ Neo to play the closing set upstairs. Neo is really excited about it and has planned to give you the cream of the cream of his collection, Old skool Belgian techno-trance, Old German trance and ACID, UK Hardcore (as in ravey shit, not gabba), breaks and early prog.
They will also be Joined by Walter Juan of Arcane and Sas, who will be the second female guest at PF. Entry for the Xmas night extravaganza will be $15, or $12 if you RSVP at http://privatefunction.tranzfusion.net. Doors open at 10pm.
