In May 2004, Finger Lickin' Records celebrated their 5th Birthday with a massive party at the Coronet in London and the release of ‘It’s A Finger Lickin’ Thang 3’. Continuing with the theme of milestones this year they have reached their 50th single release. Soul Of Man fittingly heads up the half century with ‘Shake Em Down’, which was charted by Ali B in his Capital FM radio chart and also featured on Soul Of Man’s recent Y4K ‘Breakin’ In The House’ mix CD for Distinct’ive.
After a quarter of a million single sales and 100,000 album sales later the label has become a huge global force and the 17th January, 2005 release date for ‘Shake em Down’ will be accompanied by a special limited edition picture disc by their in-house illustrator Jem Panufnik.
