  • In an amazing show of generosity, James Zabiela (UK) is going to donate his entire DJ wage to the Tsunami Appeal for his upcoming gig at Room 680 . James is headlining at Room on Saturday 15 January, as he returns after his magnificent gig there in July 2004. Many remember that night for witnessing his lightening fast hands and great skill in the mix. His latest tour promotes his new Renaissance release Alive, which went down very well with the RA crew with its mix of tech house, electro, breakbeat and progressive. Read the review of Alive here. Also playing at Volume that night will be Traveller and Quest (Ivan Gough and Luke Chable), Mark James, Jono Fernandez, Tahl vs Andrew Padula, Feigan, Dimitri Frost, Rolling Connection, Harley Augustine, Walter Juan, Max and Big Kev. This will be your last chance to catch Luke Chable before he relocates to Europe, and Jono Fernandez is planning a special live set. JZ better look out, as this local lineup is HUGE! As well as JZ's donation, it is anticipated that many other DJ's will be donating on the night. Room 680 is also behind the Tsunami Appeal and for the entire month of January they will be donationg a portion of the door proceeds for every night of trade to the appeal, as it has personally affected many of the staff and promoters. Tickets for the event are $25 +BF, and are available at Room 680, Inacoma, Capital DJ, Pure Vinyl, and Gaslight. Don't miss this one!
