  • Network LondonLondon Calling, the International Dance & Urban Music Event, has been announced to take place from June 10 - 11th, 2005. With 2 months in planning already, the event has already seen a massive response from the Music Industry from Record Labels to the Music Media, and is set to be a fantastic showcase of the Industry. The event is going ahead as a joint venture between Earls Court who will host the event and Oyster Exhibitions who are highly proficient in organising trade shows. The event will be split into two tiers, an industry only tier and a tier for the key players, companies and organisations that make up the industry. The first tier is where the industry will do its dealings away from the general exhibition, but what is exciting about this occasion is the second tier where the general public can enter and browse the area for their favourite labels, distributors, radio stations, hardware manufacturers and anything else associated with the industry. It will give the general public the opportunity to meet people from their favorite labels, buy promos directly, buy merchandise, give in demos and receive feedback. There will also be live acts and DJ's playing on the main stage throughout the 2 days. All this as well as DJ'ing, remixing, MC'ing, and production competitions with excellent prizes for the winners. There will also be panels on how to get into every aspect of the industry from A&R'ing through to the legal side of the business. RA will continue to keep you up to date with any further announcements about the event, but in the meantime, you can check out more information by clicking through to the official website below.
