Having started the 2005 tour in Auckland last Friday the BIG DAY OUT crew is in full swing and with its second gig in the Gold Coast on Sunday it is quickly making its way to Sydney where it will arrive on Wednesday to help us celebrate Australia Day. This years line up is as big as ever with some of the biggest acts in the music world ready to rock your world.
Each year the BDO produces special edition t-shirts for each event which are for sale at our merchandise tents. The t- shirts feature the names of all artists and bands performing at each show. Traditionally the monies from the sale of this t- shirt (less the production and venue costs) are distributed among local youth oriented charities. This year, the BDO intends to give net profits from the sale of this special edition event t-shirt to assist with the relief effort for Tsunami victims.
Here are just a few of the acts you will see on Wednesday, Beastie Boys, Grinspoon, Powderfinger, Chemical Brothers, Carl Cox, Infusion and the Freestylers.
