You may recall Steve Porter's Homegrown EP from early 2004? It was received with open arms, and the Porter house sound has become somewhat legendary since then! Thankfully, Steve has quickly followed it up with another EP, Homegrown #2 which completes his debut album on FDS Records (Fade US), aptly titled Homegrown. His sound has developed even further from the first EP, and the mixture of sunny, Orbital-esque melodics and inventive rhythms over a funky, bass-driven under-carriage is brilliant. Check it out, fans of house, tech and prog will enjoy, I'm sure.
