A few changes have been announced for the forthcoming Infusion party in Brisbane on Saturday 30 April. Firstly, the venue has been changed to the much larger performance space of the Arena, Brunswick St, Fortitude Valley. Secondly, Death:Wolf! might have been ripping up the airwaves on JJJ, but a band breakup means the very talented and beats heavy Soma Rasa will now step into their spot alongside Ponyloaf to complete the trio of live acts for the event.
Soma Rasa have been a long term fixture on the Brisbane music scene starting out in 1997. They are the duo of brothers Bill and Dan Hazard. Their music is a stompin' electro hybrid of breaks n’ house, pushing the boundaries of sampology, turntablism and live beats.
DJ’s Cosmo & Nearhos, Electr-Ho, and Jase Frehley will be on decks during the evening. Tickets are now on sale for the party at Rockinghorse Records, Butter Beats, and Central Station. The first 250 tickets are on sale at $25+bf, before the price rises to $35+bf.
