  • Elements is back with their third event on Saturday May 28 at The Teepee. While previous Elements parties have hosted interstate guests such as The Bird (Sydney) and K-Oscillate (Melbourne), Elements 3 looks to be more intimate and innovative! Live electronic music is feeling the love in Brisbane at the moment with many events having a mix of live acts and DJs. This party continues the vibe featuring three local live acts and five DJs. My Ninja Lover return to Brisbane after winning the Nokia Terminal 9 Connecting Beats competition which saw them spirited away to play at Chew The Fat at The End (UK), alongside the Drummatic Twins, Paul Arnold and Friendly. Rising from the ashes of acclaimed groups Zephyr Timbre and Bumperscuffs, My Ninja Lover deliver soulful breaks and drum’n’bass flavours. Statler & Waldorf will bring on a repeat dose of the electro-tech goodness which rammed the Big Day Out Boiler Room to capacity earlier this year. The third live act playing are D-Ko who have recently had a break of six months away from Brisbane stages to craft their debut album. The house/breaks fusionists will be making a welcome return with a new five-piece line-up. DJ support comes from Cosmo Cater, Scott Walker, Mox, Nate B, and Funkedub, with visuals and sound from Ampt Productions. Doors are open from 9pm to 3am and entry is $10.
