- Sonar 2005's SonarLab will be dedicated to John Peel.
John Peel died 25 October 2004, shocking the music world, making front page news and leaving a distinct void on the BBC radio program. Peel was an irreplaceable within the music industry.
Sonar 2005 will pay tribute to this very special man who not only fully supported the festival but even got on the decks with Jeff Mills at Sonar's 10th anniversary. This years SonarLab will be fully dedicated to John Peel.
