  • It has been a meteoric rise for the Formula team over the last 12 months. Spawned by a conversation, the passion, drive and vision of promoters Paul Roche and Stu Hinge have built the dream into one of the biggest success stories in the London club scene. The original night named Formula has evolved rapidly from the first event at Dukes in the city, attracting a 200 strong crowd, to the mighty Canvas in less than 12 months, with a hugely successful residency in London's award winning Egg club along the way. Speaking to the promoters the 'formula' was simple – “uplifting funky house, up for it people and zero attitude”. It has stimulated a number of spin-off parties but the flagship event will celebrate its first birthday this coming weekend (Saturday June 4) with a huge line-up of Formula residents and friends that have helped build the phenomenal profile the club now holds.
