- London Elektricity will release their second album 'Power Ballards' in early October. After their debut success press and the public are expecting another fresh quality mix of d'n'b sounds
Those who knew London Elektricity pre their acclaimed 'Billion Dollar Gravy' album dropped always raved about their unique live shows and it wasn’t until people started championing their first long player that they embarked on their first round of live shows and more people were exposed to their powerful on stage shows. The live on stage shows incorporated no playback, no click track, and no computers, just relying on a formula of fresh vocals and quality musicians. Their rise to fame since has been on a step curve as Radio and DJs picked up singles off the back of the album, so it’s no surprise to hear people already talking about their next project.
The next installment of aural goodies ‘Power Ballads’ from the large group has seen them working with heavy hitting Jazz vocalist and "BBC Jazz Awards" winner Liane Carroll alongside south coast home boy MC Wrec, while Landslide, Andy Waterworth and The Jungle Drummer provide a the breakbeat backbone.

The first single ‘The Strangest Secret In The World’ has already received extensive airplay, whilst the second single ‘Hanging Rock’ is a real dance floor tear up.
London Elektricity ‘Power Ballads’ will be out through Hospital Records on October 04 in CD and 4xLP format.
