Maceo Plex has donated dozens of hardware machines to Bridge 48 Studios in Barcelona.
More than 40 synths, drum machines and other production tools—including a Roland Juno-106, Akai MPC 1000 and Korg Poly 800—now fill a room at the membership-based studios, which opened earlier this year and also includes a bar, gallery and record shop. The US artist made hits such as "Conjure Dreams," "Solar Detroit" and "Solitary Daze" using these machines.
"With his studio gear, we will help shape and develop new and eager minds of music," said Bridge 48 founder Hernan Herrera.
