Heaps Gay announce Sydney and Newcastle street festivals

- Roadwerk will launch in January 2020 with Martyn Bootyspoon and Uniqu3.
- Heaps Gay will launch a new street festival in January 2020. Roadwerk is a rebirth of the Sydney queer party crew's previous street events, originally held on Garden St in Marrickville up until last summer, when connection of the Westconnex motorway forced a year's hiatus. This time they'll be taking over Saywell St, just a block away, on January 18th, with Martyn Bootyspoon and Uniqu3 leading a bill that spans live music and performance, DJs and installations. They'll also be bringing Roadwerk up to Newcastle the following weekend. The location for that is TBA.
