  • It has crept up on all of us (mostly due to their very slow start), but Dave Seaman's Audio Therapy has already been around for half a decade. In way of celebration the head honcho himself has compiled an album full of exclusive new material and unreleased nuggets from the label's archives. 'This is Audio Therapy', does exactly what it says on the tin, features a wide range of artists from around the world including Infusion, Hybrid, Kosmas Epsilon, Phil K & Habersham and Dave's own Group Therapy project. For the DJs amongst you the release will include a bonus second unmixed CD and features full-length versions of some of the highlights of the mixed CD together with exclusive remixes from Tonedepth & Stel, Trafik, Oliver Moldan and Steve Porter. Dave sights the reasons for the album and the second CD:
"Vinyl sales as a whole have been dropping over the past 12 months and we as a label have to be aware of where the market is moving. The digital format has evolved very quickly and it would seem that less and less people are buying the vinyl format. But, I still think that people like to hold and see a product at the end of the day as opposed to a computer file. The unmixed CD will satisfy the demand out there for Audio Therapy fans and will hopefully bridge the gap for people moving away from vinyl but still wanting an end product. The format worked well and was warmly received for the Across Borders CD release we did last month and as with that release we will also be doing a limited edition 2 x 12” vinyl run."
