- The UK artist's composition for the three-part audiovisual exhibition is out now on The Vinyl Factory.
Mira Calix is releasing the soundtrack to United Visual Artists' Our Time installation via The Vinyl Factory.
Featuring music composed by the Warp affiliate, Our Time is one of three larger projects comprising UVA's audiovisual exhibition, Other Spaces, according to the record label. UVA has commissioned several other artists, including Massive Attack and James Blake, for the show, running until December 6th at 180 The Strand's The Store X in London.
Mira Calix is a South African-born, UK-based composer and artist known for her multidisciplinary installations incorporating music, sculpture, video and performance art. Earlier this year, she released the Utopia EP on Warp—her first release on the label in over ten years. Calix also featured on a fundraiser compilation album, CRXSSINGS, and took part in the Warp 30th anniversary NTS takeover, WXAXRXP.
