The venue, located in the former Sugar Factory space, will house a new local radio station.
Amsterdam's newest club is Lovelee.
The venue takes over the location of Sugar Factory, which closed earlier this year after filing for bankruptcy. The venue will open and house a new local radio station and space for art, music education and more.
Lovelee's programmer says the bookings will skew "funky house and disco," adding, "It won't be as credible as [De] School and Shelter, but it will also not be a commercial hit factory."
The invite-only opening party runs this weekend through the early hours of Sunday, December 1st, with an unannounced lineup. December programming will see Dutch acts Philou Louzolo, Michel de Hey and Prunk, and the New Year's Day party features the likes of Prosumer, Dan Shake and Jamie 3:26. More parties are still TBA.
