  • Samuel Rohrer will release a new album called Continual Decentering on Arjunamusic in February. The new LP, Rohrer's first solo full-length since 2017's Range Of Regularity, continues his exploration of the drum kit as a lead instrument. Over the course of 13 tracks, the Swiss drummer utilizes a hybrid system in which he triggers modular synthesizer processes by hitting his drums. In the dance music world, Rohrer, who cut his teeth as a jazz drummer, is best known as the drummer for Ambiq, the trio with Max Loderbauer and Claudio Puntin that has collaborated with Ricardo Villalobos.
