Jan St. Werner will release Molocular Meditation on Editions Mego in February.
St. Werner and his Mouse On Mars bandmate Andi Toma originally collaborated with The Fall's Mark E. Smith as Von Südenfed. The new LP gathers further experiments from St. Werner and Smith, who died in 2018.
The title track sees the Hip Priest narrating an electroacoustic composition, which originally premiered at the Cornerhouse in Manchester in 2014. The closer, "VS Canceled," has Smith reading an email from Domino explaining why Von Südenfed has been dropped. With "On The Infinite Of Universe And Worlds," St. Werner interprets Giordano Bruno's Renaissance writings as the outline of an electronic opera, a piece he was asked to conceptualize for Finish festival Musica Nova.
