- Karl O'Connor's vital second LP for Downwards has been remastered and recut.
Delivered Into The Hands Of Indifference has been reissued.
Regis' second LP, originally released by his Downwards label in 1998, has been remastered and recut in a new edition of 500 grey vinyl copies. It also features new artwork, three locked grooves and a rejigged tracklist.
Delivered Into The Hands Of Indifference is an important pillar of the Birmingham techno sound and remains a touchstone for producers and DJs to this day. It signalled O'Connor's transition from the skeletal sound of Gymnastics—also reissued in 2017—to an increasingly hypnotic and consuming model with little discernible structure or melody.
Downwards started a new compilation series this year, while O'Connor's British Murder Boys project with Surgeon released a CD.
