A midnight curfew was suddenly introduced following complaints from new residents in the area.
Hanoi nightclub Savage is moving to another location in the city's Tay Ho district.
In a Facebook post from Thursday, the team says the move follows abrupt changes to the original venue's operating hours. Last weekend, a midnight curfew was suddenly introduced after local residents, who had recently moved into new luxury apartments next door, complained about the noise.
The team, not wanting to run a club with a midnight curfew, began looking for a new venue, which they have now found only a few blocks away. The plan is to stay at the current location until March 2020.
"This was an incredibly difficult decision to make, having to leave such a monumental place that we loved and cherished over the past three years," the Facebook statement reads. "The new place will give us the freedom to do everything we want without limitations."
In the coming weeks, Savage will host the likes of nd_baumecker, MCMLXXXV, Phuong Dan and Gonno.
