- They're holding a 48-hour broadcast marathon this weekend.
Threads Radio is hosting a 48-hour fundraising broadcast this weekend to raise money for an impending move.
The radio station is located in the same building as The Cause nightclub, in Tottenham Hale, which was due to close in January 2020. The club's lease has since been extended, but the radio station is still preparing to move, and has initiated a fundraising campaign to purchase new infrastructure, build new studios for community use, find a new building and move into its new home.
The 48-hour broadcast will begin at midnight on Saturday, December 14th and run until 11:59 PM on December 15th. The broadcast will feature Traxman and Logos alongside a wide array of Threads regulars and special guests.
Threads launched at the beginning of this year and seeks to be a community-minded organization that raises money for local charities and works with the Haringey Migrant Support Centre.
