  • Melodies International will release a 12-inch from Synchrojack in January. For its latest archival project, the label run by Floating Points and friends delves into the catalog of the London duo formed by Dean Slydell and Greg Wheeler in the mid-'90s. After connecting over records and production gear, they set up a shared studio in the former's parents' home and got to work making tracks that channeled their love of Chicago house and Detroit techno. The two tracks on the Melodies reissue were originally released on Ferox in 1995 and are played by DJs to this day. The reissue will come on vinyl and digital formats.
