- The Detroit native died on January 2nd aged 50.
Detroit DJ Mark David Fisher has died.
The DJ, promoter and online organiser was 50 years old when he died from a brain haemorrhage and stroke last Thursday, January 2nd, WDIV reports.
Apart from playing drum & bass and organising events in the techno capital, he was also an organiser of the Detroit Luv forum, which acted as an online meeting point for the city's pre-social media dance music community.
A memorial service is being held at Hartford Memorial Baptist Church on January 18th.
