- Raw Reflex is out in late February.
The next EP on Julia Govor's Jujuka label is a split with EMIT, AKA Kamran Sadeghi.
Raw Reflex comprises three tracks from each artist. Govor's side includes a track that features her singing the theme from '90s Russian cartoon Antoshka. Another, "Villa Tone," samples a 2012 interview she did with Ricardo Villalobos where he talks about his fear of dreaming.
The second side highlights Sadeghi's new EMIT alias. All tracks were recorded live in the studio, including "Hyphen," which was edited down from a 30-minute jam.
The New York-based Govor launched Jujuka in 2018, and each release comes with a comic strip. (Raw Reflex's comic also features a depiction of Villalobos.)
