The festival celebrating the black underground returns to Brooklyn with the likes of Turtle Bugg, Akua and Shyboi.
Brooklyn's dweller has revealed names for their 2020 lineup.
Earlier today on twitter, Discwoman's Frankie Decaiza Hutchinson shared a heartfelt note with the announcement: "Since the last dweller I've been impatient to start the next and make it a bigger thing... I feel fortunate to be able to speak up for what I believe in, and dweller is a manifestation of that. Most importantly though, being able to work with such incredible people has been the best part."
The second edition of the festival, which showcases black underground artists, will resume its run at Bossa Nova Civic Club—plus Nowadays and a few TBA locations—with 11 parties between February 5th and 9th. Opening the event on Wednesday, February 5th, Halfmoonbk will invite DJ SWISHA to play a back-to-back set with Kush Jones. The following nights will also see sets from the likes of DJ Stingray, Shyboi and Turtle Bugg, who will play an all night set.
DJs Jasmine Infiniti and Analog Soul are also included on the bill, playing alongside Bookworms, Titonton Duvante and Akua. On Sunday, February 9th, Adam R, DJ Wawa and Getty are slated to close the series.
