Moor Mother is performing a three-day residency at London's Cafe OTO.
Taking place from 7:30 PM through 11 PM across February 14th to 16th, the events will see the US-based artist, real name Camae Aweya, take the stage at the East London venue. Opening on Friday night, Ayewa will be joined by ONO, with a host of artists on the following night, including Galya Bisengalieva, ONO again and Elaine Mitchener. The residency will draw to a close on Sunday evening, with sets from Brother May and Ayewa.
Moor Mother is a Philadelphia-based musician and spoken word artist. Among her various collaborative projects, she's best-known for her output with DJ Haram as 700 Bliss. Last year, she released Analog Fluids Of Sonic Black Holes, an LP that made our Albums Of The Decadee list.
