Nicolas Jaar has hinted at new material coming under his Against All Logic alias and shared an album-length mix of unreleased music.
The mix went up on his label Other People's SoundCloud page after airing on NTS Radio yesterday. It features 50 minutes of new AAL material.
Jaar also announced a new EP due out this Friday, with guest spots from Lydia Lunch and FKA twigs. (Jaar co-produced twigs' MAGDALENE, our 2019 album of the year.) The mix features an edit of the Lydia Lunch-featuring track "Illusions Of Shameless Abundance."
Back in 2018, Jaar collected previous Against All Logic tunes—mainly house tracks and disco edits—as the 2012-2017 compilation. He's asked for his own picture not to be associated with the project, instead requesting that Against All Logic be represented by "any picture of a military man holding a cellphone."
