- The short-lived Manhattan venue just opened in October.
New York venue The Dance is shutting its doors.
According to an Instagram post from Monday, February 10th, the Lower Manhattan space will host its final event next week, citing conflicting management as the reason behind the abrupt close. "Unfortunately, the ownership group has respectively decided to pull the plug on this dream and go in another direction, thus ending The Dance as it is known today," the caption reads.
Since its opening last October, the multi-room venue has booked a host of electronic acts during its short run, including the likes of Kelman Duran, Jubilee and MoMa Ready.
The venue's last show will take place on Tuesday, February 18th, with a performance from US Girls.
